How do I download and install Pop Up StopperŪ Basic?

• After you click the download button, the download should automatically begin.
• When asked if you would like to save this file or open it click the Save button.
• Click on Desktop (left hand side of box).
• Click Save and your download should start.
• When finished go to your desktop and double click the new Pop-Up StopperŪ Basic icon.
• When the box opens click Next.
• Read Agreement then Click Next.
• Destination Folder C:\..\Panicware\Pop-Up StopperŪ Pro, Click Next.
• Click Next.
• Click Next.
• When installation is complete, Click Finish.
• You should now see the Pop-Up StopperŪ Toolbar under your Address Bar.

What if I want to turn Pop-Up StopperŪ Off?

• The On/Off button on the toolbar would allow you to turn this program off and on.

How will I know when a pop-up ad has been blocked?

• Pop-Up StopperŪ is defaulted to make a sound when a pop-up ad is blocked.
• If the Horn icon is off there will be no indication that there was a pop-up ad.

Can I change the sound made when an ad is blocked?

• Yes. Here's how.
• Click the icon on the toolbar with a Music Note.
• Double click Generic Sounds.
• You can preview the sounds by clicking on one and selecting Play Sound.
• When you find the one that you want click the Select button and the click Close.

What happens if I click on a link and it does not open?

• Hold the Ctrl Key down on the keyboard while you click on the link.
• If this doesn't work click the Options button on the Pop-Up StopperŪ Toolbar.
• Then click Preferences...
• Click the Pop-Up Control tab.
• Under Pop-Up Control Mode take the check out of Enable Aggressive Pop-Up Control, then try the link again.
